Air Fryer Steak Recipe (Juicy & Perfect)

Ingredients

 

2 steaks (ribeye, sirloin, or your favorite cut) – about 2–3 cm thick

1–2 tbsp olive oil

Salt & black pepper

1 tsp garlic powder (optional)

Fresh parsley (optional)

Garlic Butter

 

2 tbsp softened butter

1 clove garlic, minced

1 tsp chopped parsley

Pinch of salt

Mix together and keep aside.

Instructions

 

1. Prep the steaks

 

Pat steaks dry.

Rub with olive oil.

Season well with salt, pepper, and garlic powder.

2. Preheat the Air Fryer

Preheat to 200°C (400°F) for 3 minutes.

3. Cook the steaks

Place steaks in a single layer inside the basket.

 

Cooking time (approx.):

 

Rare: 6–7 minutes (flip at 3 min)

Medium: 8–10 minutes (flip at 5 min)

Well done: 12–14 minutes

(Time depends on thickness and your air fryer model.)

4. Add garlic butter

 

Once the steaks are done, place a small spoon of garlic butter on each steak.

Let rest for 5 minutes before serving.

 

Tips for Best Results

 

Don’t overcrowd the basket—air needs to circulate.

Let the steaks come to room temperature before cooking.

Use a thermometer if you want precision:

Rare: 52°C

Medium: 60°C

Well done: 70°C
